I am very pleased that my first novel, Night of Flames, is now available as an audio book on Amazon, Audible and iTunes.
First published in 2007, and still selling strongly in paperback and e-book form, Night of Flames tells the story of Anna Kopernik, a college professor in Krakow, and her husband, Jan, a cavalry Officer who are separated during the rising storm of violence and destruction as Germany invades Poland in 1939.
Winner of the 2007, “Outstanding Achievement Award” by the Wisconsin Library Association.

Described by historian, Martin Windrow as a “terrible rabble of cut-throats, renegades, and sadistic morons,” Dirlewanger’s brigade launched a savage house-to-house rampage in the Wola District, murdering and raping more than ten thousand civilians in a single day.
“Warsaw must completely disappear from the surface of the earth. No stone can remain standing and every building must be razed to its foundation.”
